High Horse
We believe that beer should be brewed with nothing but the finest ingredients and locally sourced materials should be used whenever possible. Beer must be made with attention to detail and care in every aspect. We employ traditional methods and brew beers heavily influenced by classic European styles. We are not afraid to experiment with new methods and processes, we relish them. We use artistic influences and creative ideas to develop the character of our beers. We know that beer is not consumed in a bubble, but its purpose is, and has been, a social one. Simply, we love what we do because nothing brings people together like beer.
Peak Organic Brewing
Peak is a craft brewing company, dedicated to making delicious beer using local, artisan and organic ingredients.
With roots in Homebrewing back in the 90s, brewer Jon Cadoux set about combining his love for beer with an ethic for sustainability. Whenever possible, he would go out and find ingredients from local organic farmers for his homebrews. It was a defining day when Jon discovered that you don’t need to sacrifice flavor for sustainability, but that better ingredients actually made the beer more delicious.
Two Roads Brewing Company
Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers!
Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.
Build a new building for our brewery? Nope. How about resurrecting a 100 year old factory in Stratford, CT? Here in the northeastern US, many of these proud, old brick factory buildings sit empty and we think that’s a shame. After all, it was in these factories that the things that made the American Dream come true were built. When we’re done cleaning, scraping and painting the old brick, wood and steel that was put together to stand forever, this old shell will be reborn with the latest state-of-the-art brewing equipment, fermenting equipment, packaging equipment and have the ability to produce the finest craft beers anywhere. And almost as importantly, it’ll be a place where beer lovers can come together in our second story tasting room or outdoor beer garden and share a story, a laugh and some great beer.Speaking of beer, the ones we craft will follow this same philosophy; unique renditions of classic beer styles created by master brewer Phil Markowski, a guy known for taking the road less traveled in every brew he makes. Whether it’s an IPA, Pilsner, Saison or a limited edition seasonal, Phil’s signature version of the beer styles he creates will be crafted for beer lovers who like to take a “less traveled” road, themselves. So, we hope to meet you somewhere on this journey. Here’s to taking the road less traveled, in life and beer!
