We’re obsessed: all that we think about, all that we dream about, all that we build are high-end ales and lagers which strictly range within the Imperial classification of alcohol from 8% to 14%. We’re committed to the production of Greater tasting beers, hand-crafted with Greater ingredients. We are defining the next level of Imperial brews.
Two Weeks Notice Brewing Company was born out of the desire to not only develop and brew beer we like to drink, but also to bring our little community of friends around to enjoy a day together. Brew days consisted of friends pouring in with food and local craft beers to enjoy, loud music and never ending nights by the fire. We lovingly coined the phrase “Fake Saturday” (we even named a beer after it) for any brew days that happened to fall on a work night. We found a way to not think about the adult consequences we would face at our jobs the next day and focus on enjoyment of the day and the moment. It is an important goal of Two Weeks Notice to never stop these brew days. We want to lease or purchase a brew space that will allow us to invite the community into our world and make them a part of what we do. Beer making is our escape, it’s our creative outlet- and we want our supporters to be a part of that too. Two Weeks Notice was born out of the idea of getting back to what WE think we were put on this earth to do: create lasting memories and good times with our friends and family.
Vanished Valley Brewing Company is a fast growing small-batch brewery that took flight in 2016 out of a desire to share our passion for exciting craft beer with others in good company and spirit.
We believe in brewing only the beer that we love through precision and a commitment to the highest quality. Through our vocation we believe in stretching limits and challenging the status quo of certain beer styles, aiming higher and creating something more than we thought possible.
Baxter Brewing Co. is a Maine-based craft brewery which is the first of its kind in New England to can all of its beer. Located in Bates Mill in the up-and-coming community of Lewiston/Auburn, ME, Baxter Brewing Co. currently distributes its flavorful and unique craft beers in ME, MA, NH, VT, NY, RI, & CT both in six-pack and on draught. The brewery features an in-house retail shop and Tap Room where you can purchase our beer and sweet schwag on-site, enjoy tours and tastings as well as regular special events.
Baxter’s story begins with Luke Livingston, whose interest in craft beer was peaked in college (thanks to him, Clark University now has a rule in place banning brewing in the dorms). After graduating, he launched a well-respected beer blog; as he continued to learn and write about craft beer, he recognized a need in the New England market for some creative interpretations of popular beers.
The impetus for committing his ideas to a business plan occurred in 2009, with the passing of his mother. The key components of his plan were to offer creative, approachable beers that would be produced sustainably, that would be inspired but not constrained by tradition, and that, through convenient packaging, could be enjoyed everywhere.
To brew beer of the caliber Luke had in mind, he needed to locate talented brewers that shared his vision for great canned craft beer. To this end, he found Ben Low, a former Latin Literature professor who happened to be in the middle of starting his own brewery.
Ben agreed come on board as the interim head brewer for a few months to get things rolling – but lucky for us, Ben’s few months have turned into years.
He is now the Director of Brewing Operations, and his vision and passion is embodied by Baxter’s assortment of interesting, highly-crafted, and balanced beers.
